TNV MUSIC: Kendrick Lamar – All the Stars ft SZA

Kendrick Lamar Kicks off 2018 with a brand new single titled ‘All The Stars’ featuring SZA. The rapper had teased his work on Black Panther, the 2018 Marvel movie directed by Fruitvale Station and Creed’s Ryan Coogler, in the music video for ‘LOVE’.

Well, that did not take too long at all. K.Dot comes through with a new song titled ‘All The Stars’ and he’s got his label mate SZA for company to assist with the singing vocals. You can stream their collaboration below and pre-order the Black Panther soundtrack here. According to the press release, Kendrick and Top Dawg Entertainment will produce the full soundtrack which hits stores February 9th.

IYANYA SIGNS RECORD DEAL WITH ROC NATION

After joining the MAVINS record label following his exit from his former label Triple MG. The "kukere" crooner has reportedly signed a management deal with Jay Z's record label ROC NATION, whom had signed Tiwa Savage last year.
Femi salawu, media of Temple Management Company, Iyanya's management company confirmed the deal in his statement.

Few weeks after Nicki Minaj ended her relationship with, Meek Mill, she has made peace with her longtime friend, Drake. According to TMZ, Drake flew to Miami for a meeting with Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne.

Our Young Money sources tell us Drake saw an ESPN segment on January 8 that featured Lil Wayne and Nicki. Drake immediately called label honcho Mack Maine, and said ... "Why didn't you tell me the family is back?" Mack quickly set up a meeting for the full Young Money roster that turned into a peace summit. 

We're told Drake hopped on a jet to Miami on January 12, and sat down with Nicki and Wayne. The photo she posted was taken during that meeting. Remember ... Drake and Nicki haven't spoken since they recorded "Truffle Butter" in 2014. 

She purposely stayed on the sidelines during his beef with then bf Meek Mill. Nicki announced their split on Jan. 5 -- one week later she was chopping it up with Drake, and we're told everything's cool between the labelmates now. 

As Drake said, "I don't wanna hear about this ever again. Not even when she tell him they're better as friends." 

YOUNG THUG TO OPEN FOR DRAKE

Young Thug is set to jump on Drake's European tour for a series of live shows in the U.K. and Ireland. The Boy Meets World tour began on Saturday, January 28, in Amsterdam where Drake previewed new music he has recorded with Giggs. Young Thug, who previouslyhinted at supporting Drake on the road, will join the tour in London on February 1. He'll play all of the subsequent dates at London's O2 Arena plus shows in Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Dublin, and Birmingham.

After the resignation of Kamal Ajiboye, Davido's former manager. He has returned to his first manager with whom he had stormed the music world in 2013. According to reports on Lindaikeji, Asa asika who was instrumental in getting Naeto C in Davido's first hit song "Back When" parted ways with the artiste after a series of controversies rocked the artist. Now with the controversial exit of Kamal, Asa returns to the helms of managing Davido. We are yet to see how this partnership will eventually play out but we wish both of them Goodluck.

MR. EAZI TO DROP MIXTAPE SOON

Singer, Mr Eazi, real name Tosin is set to drop a mixtape.

The Starboy Worldwide Act, took to his IG page to reveal that he will be dropping his mixtape titled ‘Accra To Lagos’ on February 11.

Mr Eazi, won the ‘Next Rated’ act award at the 2016 Headies Awards and has released several hits and featured in same since his joining the music industry.

HAS DAVIDO FALLEN INSIDE TRAP?

After a long break in  2016,one  of Africa's  biggest artiste, Davido dropped a five-track EP titled "SON OF MERCY". The body of work featured a diverse set of sounds; Gbagbe oshi rode the patois flow on a well-crafted ragga beat, kudos to shizzi. The international flick with american musician "tinashe" could clearly be recognized as  SA house sound. "Maga 2 mugu" with fellow compatriot "Simi", was typical Davido delivering on a the afro-pop sound we had come to love him for. On "Return" Davido did justice to the fuji beat made by Shizzi. The track "Coolest Kid in Africa" showed Davido embracing the trap sound that has taken the world by storm.
Could trap be his way into the international stage, with the rumoured "Pere" ft young thug and rae sraemmund, and the recently announced collaboration with quavo of migos and fellow label mate "dremo".
