John Mikel Obi finally admits he’s leaving Chelsea


The 29-year-old midfielder shared a letter from a Chelsea fan in Ukraine thanking him for his service to the club ahead of his move.
Nigerian midfielder, John Mikel Obi has finally admitted that he is on his way away from Chelsea.
Mikel Obi is expected to leave Chelsea in the January transfer window after he was frozen out of the team by new manager Antonio Conte.
Under Conte, Mikel has not made an appearance for Chelsea this season and has reportedly been told to leave the club he joined in 2006.


Despite several rumours and reports on his situation, the midfielder has been quiet on the issue until a Twitter post.

There are Also Rumors That Hes Planning to move to China for a  #2.5bn/ year deal.....

Rio 2016 Olympics: Dutch gymnast Yuri van Gelder sent home from Rio 2016



Yuri van Gelder's late night excursion into Rio has cost him a place in the Dutch gymnastics Olympics team.

Dutch gymnast Yuri van Gelder has been sent home from the Olympics after flouting team rules in regards to consuming alcohol during a night out in Rio.
Van Gelder qualified for the finals of the rings competition on Saturday and celebrated by leaving the athletes village before returning in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The 33-year-old has paid a heavy price for his venture out, though, with the Dutch team barring him from competing in the remainder of the Games.

"It's been a very difficult decision for us to take. It's terrible for Yuri, but this behaviour is unacceptable," Netherlands chef de mission Maurits Hendriks said via a statement on the gymnastic team's official website.

"That [behaviour] does not belong to participation in the Olympics or any sport event whatsoever.
"In sporting terms it is a loss, but with such a breach of the values of the team we have no other choice. We stand for excellence and respect for all agreements and rules."

Nigeria’s table tennis player, Aruna Quadri, yesterday made history as he became the first African to ever get to the quarterfinals of the table tennis game in any Olympic games. Aruna beat Germany’s Timo Boll 4-2 in men’s single table tennis match at the ongoing Rio, Brazil Olympic. 28 year old Aruna will play against Ma Long in the quarterfinals next week Tuesday August 16th.

STEP 1: DRINK A  LOT OF WATER
Drink approximately 2 liters, or 8 eight ounce glasses, of water each day. Feel free to add sliced fruit to your water for added flavor.

Since processed fruit drinks are high in sugar content, it’s recommended that this type of drinks be limited or avoided completely over the next 30 days. If you do choose to drink fruit-flavored drinks, read the ingredients label and avoid any beverages that contain sugar or other added sweeteners.


Water flushes toxins out of vital organs and carries nutrients to your cells. Even mild dehydration can sap energy. Water is vital for optimal health!

STEP 2: AVOID SUGARY DRINKS/ FATTY FOODS AND ARTIFICIAL SUGARS

Avoid all refined sugar and artificial sweeteners. Read ingredient labels on packaged foods to eliminate any foods that contain these. Almost all processed foods have some form of added sugar.

This means that whole foods will be the biggest part of your diet over the next 30 days. To understand in full what is meant by no added sugar,

4 teaspoons of unrefined sweeteners, per day, is allowed.

In addition to the 4 daily teaspoons of unrefined sweetener, stevia is also permitted during this challenge.


If there is a food product with an unrefined sugar in the ingredients label, i.e. honey or molasses, there is no way to know how much has been added. Therefore, these food items should not be consumed during this challenge. The only way to know that you have had the allotted 4 teaspoons of unrefined sweetener in one day is to measure them yourself.


STEP 3: PORTION YOUR FOOD

All meals should be eaten on salad size plates instead of traditional dinner plates. These plates are approximately 7″ in diameter.
When eating at a restaurant, ask that your meal be served on a salad plate.
When eating soups or stews, follow the 1 serving size, which is typically 1 to 1 1/2 cups.

Portion sizes of foods must be no larger than the palm of your hand. That means that ‘normal’ restaurant portions have to be cut down in size to fit on your salad plate.



STEP 4: EXERSISE
Exercise a minimum of 30 minutes, six days per week.
Exercise can be broken into increments of two 15 minute blocks or completed at one time
Exercise can consist of weight training or cardiovascular exercise, or a combination of the two.
It is recommend that you find workouts that are appropriate for your fitness level, while still challenging yourself.

Television cameras caught Real Madrid Florentino Perez waiting for star player Cristiano Ronaldo as he arrived at the stadium with the rest of the players for Tuesday’s crucial champions league clash with Paris St Germain. Florentino Perez could be seen asking the forward about a recent interview he gave German magazine Kicker, in which he hinted that he might not stay at the club.

The president gave him a playful slap as he questioned Ronaldo, who looked less than amused and walked away saying: ‘What did I say? I never said that. I said it differently,’ he said as he made his way to the dressing room.

Floyd Mayweather Retired boxer splashes $3m on new Bugatti

Floyd Mayweather might have retired from the sports of boxing but his extravagant lifestyle continues as he splashes $3m on a car.
The 38-year-old shared the photo on his social media page writing “my new 2015 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse $3,498,000.”


According to TMZ, the cars which are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars were all burnt as they were being transported from one state to another on Wednesday, October 7.
A Bentley and two Rolls Royce cars were all burnt while there were being transported from Las Vegas to Miami.

An SUV was also among the car burnt in the fire which police have confirmed that no one was injured or dead.
The cars were being transported by Mayweather’s car dealer Obi Okeke who is the CEO of Fusion Luxury Motors....

Chile 2015: Croatia Beat Golden Eaglets

Croatia defeated Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets to qualify for the knockout stages of a FIFA U-17 tournament for the first time in their history.

Though Victor Oshiemen’s first half goal (his fourth in the tournament) looked like giving Nigeria a routine win, Croatia fought back in the second half with two early goals in a match the Europeans were really in control of.
The FIFA U17 World Cup gets to the crucial stage as the already qualified Golden Eaglets of Nigeria tackle the Young Blazers of Croatia in the last group game. The Croatians need to beat Nigeria to have any hope of qualifying for the next round.
Nigeria are already through after their win against the USA in the first game and the trashing of hosts Chile 5 – 1 in the second group game.
Ahead of this match, coach Emmanuel Amuneke said the only thing on the boys, minds is to defend their title which was won with Kelechi Iheanacho and Taiwo Awoniyi in attack in 2013.
